They are dropping faster than I thought they would. I seem some on eBay around the 100k range and I think that is great value. A V8 grand tourer that has the wail and presence this car does is hard to beat. Not sure why it ever got the reputation of being a bad Ferrari because I think I would pick one over the comparable mid-engined models.

I don’t love the styling, though the new one is a huge improvement. Still, for that price and in that blue/tan color combo, I’d absolutely buy that.

I'd rather just spend 1/5th the price and get a Maserati.

I like the styling on the California but I agree the Cal T is better

The Maserati Coupe is ugly. But I like the GT

I found the problem:

Oh, and don’t think you’ll get away with filtering eBay listings for “Manual” - they’re all paddle-shift. Ew, I need three pedals.

e: Kinja, good job with the formatting of my comment. Nice work.

I think they made less than 1% manual

I think they were the last Ferrari offer with a stick though.

One sold at auction few months ago with a three-pedal manual. It went for $500,000.

I tend to agree with that post though; I wouldn’t even consider one, whether I could afford it or not.

That said, the Ferrari paddle-shifter is apparently one of the best, even a few years later. I too would prefer a manual, but hey that doesn’t seem too bad.

It doesn’t surprise me at it went for 500k that is still crazy though

Even if it’s the best, I still don’t want it. No interest whatsoever.

Only two Californias have a manual transmission.

They only made two.

I’ve heard the number as high as 8, but I’ve mostly heard six. I think it was two in the first model year, and that may be what you’re referring to.

Still, no fun.
